PUBLIC COURSE – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Fees:
  • All fees are current at the time of going to print; however, we reserve the right to change them.
  1. Confirmation Instructions:
  • On receipt of this submitted Booking Form and payment or purchase order you will receive a confirmation letter by email confirming your participation in the training event.
  1. Attendance:
  • Please note that no learner will be permitted to attend any training course without proof of payment or an order no.
  1. Delegate Substitution:
  • Substitutes can be made at any time without incurring a penalty. Please inform us in writing so we can make the necessary arrangements for the new learner.
  1. Payment:
  • Payment can be made by cheque or by electronic transfer, and must be received 3 working days prior to the commencement of the course.
  • Please quote the reference number from your invoice and organisation name so that payments can be tracked.
  1. Cancellation:
  • All cancellations must be done in writing and emailed directly to First Corporate Training.
  • Inform us immediately if you have to re-schedule or cancel the booking so that we can inform the caterers and conference venue. Otherwise this will be for your account.
  • The following charges apply if you cancel: 
    –  11 – 30 days before a course = 10% of the course fee
    –  6 – 10 days before a course = 20% of the course fee 
    –  4 – 6 days before a course= 30% of the course fee
    –  1-3 days before a course = 50% of the course fee
    –  No show on the day of the course = 100% of the course fee
  1. Special Meals: 
  • Please note that we do provide Halaal friendly or Kosher meals on request. Should STRICTLY Halaal or Kosher be required, we are happy to outsource from appropriately certified caterers at an additional surcharge of R100 Halaal per person per meal . Kosher R150 per person per meal.
  1. Public Course Running:  
  • All First Corporate Training public courses will ONLY go ahead if we have at least 5 (five) delegates confirmed. First Corporate Training reserves the right to postpone courses with less than five delegates to a future date.
  1. Transfer of dates & Postponements:
  • The transfer of dates option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course.
  • Transfers can only be made up to 3 working days prior to the course, after which point the registration is considered to be a cancellation.

Please bring an originally certified copy of the delegate’s I.D. to the first day of the training session.

INHOUSE COURSES – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Fees

    All course fees identified in the section above are fixed for this contract. The number of delegates confirmed above is fixed for the dates as set out above in this contract. Should the number of delegates who attend the course be less than the above specified number of delegates, the client will still be liable to pay for the above specified number of delegates and the above full contract price.

    2.   Delegates may attend subsequent course dates

    Should fewer delegates attend the set course dates above, the delegates have the option of joining future course dates set for the same client. If large numbers cannot attend the course dates, new course dates for the client can be set within a two-month period.

    3.  Confirmation Instructions

  • On the receipt of this submitted Booking Form and Contract we will email a confirmation letter detailing your course numbers and course dates and price.
  1. Payment
  • Payment can be made by cheque or by electronic transfer, and must be received 30 working days from the date of the invoice.
  • Please quote the reference number from your invoice & organisation name so that payments can be tracked.
  • Should payment be made after 30 days a 5% penalty fee will be charged.
  1. Cancellation
  • All cancellations must be done in writing and emailed directly to First Corporate Training sales consultant.
  • Inform us immediately if you have to re-schedule or cancel the booking so that we can inform the facilitators. Else this will be for your account.
  • The following charges apply if you cancel: 
    –  11 – 60 days before a course = 15% of the course fee
    –  6 – 10 days before a course = 20% of the course fee 
    –  4 – 6 days before a course= 30% of the course fee
    –  1-3 days before a course = 50% of the course fee
    –  No show on the day of the course = 100% of the course fee
  1. Transfer of dates & Postponements
  • The transfer of dates option only applies to delegates who are transferring to a different date for the same course. 
  • Transfers of dates for courses can only be made up to 5 working days prior to the course commencement, after which point the transfer or postponement is considered to be a cancellation, and the cancellation fees above will apply.
